How does Auto Scout find deals?

You tell it what you're hunting for — makes, budget, mileage, distance. Auto Scout then continuously scans public listings on marketplaces like Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji and AutoTrader, scores each one against the market, and alerts you when a strong deal appears.

Do I need an account?

Nope. There's no sign-up — open the app, set your hunt, and you're going. Your searches are tied to your device.

How do subscriptions work?

Auto Scout offers subscription plans that unlock more sources and faster scan frequencies. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone.

How do I cancel or get a refund?

Cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings (above) — your access continues until the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

A listing says it's sold or won't open — why?

Listings on Marketplace and Kijiji come and go fast. Auto Scout re-checks them and flags ones that are gone, but a seller can remove a listing at any moment. Also note: Facebook Marketplace links open in the Facebook app — make sure you're signed into your personal account (not a Page), or they won't display.

I'm not getting alerts.

Check that notifications are enabled for Auto Scout in iOS Settings → Notifications → Auto Scout, and that your search is active. Still stuck? Email us and we'll sort it out.
